This is my latest painting, “Crescent Hill Reservoir/Fall/Left Basin & Gatehouse,” oil on panel, 18” x 36.”  It’s based on a reference photo I shot in Fall, 2021.  The Reservoir is one of Louisville’s most treasured locales.  As many of you know, I love the place, having grown up several blocks from it.  To me it is endlessly fascinating and I always seen to see some feature of the place that I’ve never really noticed before.
