As hot as it's been these days, I thought I'd paint something cool. Here's a view of the creek at Overbrook Road off Mockingbird Valley Road from several years ago. There had been a wet snow the night before and it was clinging to the branches of the trees. After a morning of bright warm sun, it would be mostly gone but while it lasted it was stunning.
