I've always loved sycamore trees.  We had an imposing sycamore in our backyard throughout my growing years  and I would lie on the ground beneath it, looking up at the trunk and the leaves.  To me it is the most beautiful species of tree in the world and I am drawn to its myriad color schemes, contrast possibilities and dramatic lighting, no matter the season, weather conditions or time of day.
