This is an 8” x 8” oil on panel of a grouping of pink dogwood blossoms on the tree next to my driveway. I was working on an 18” x 36” of this subject and ran into snags while painting it. So, I stopped and decided to paint a smaller detail from my reference photo to allow me to play around with painting a blossom, a rather subtle problem. This is the result. Its title is Pink Dogwood Blossom. (There’s no hiding a clever, steel-trap mind like this one, right?). Let me know if I can answer any questions.
